Harlequin Wishes

Happy Wednesday! The card today was made for the Sweet Dreamers Blog Group Challenge #3 All About the Grid. When this challenge was posted, I immediately thought of this background paper! I love the Harlequin pattern! The challenge for me was how to amplify the pattern. I used black card stock embossed with the Cuttlebug for the large diamonds. The smaller diamonds are cut from a textured metallic paper stack. All are raised on dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped on white card stock. I am happy with this result and think it will make a good card for a masculine birthday. Hope you like it too! Be sure to check out the posts from the other Sweet Dreamers!! 8. It's neat the way you've added the sentiment inside a diamond. That ties all the elements together. Nice job.
