I was blessed this past weekend with a visit from my granddaughter, Tori! Tori is five and already loves to craft. She especially enjoys it when Grandma turns her lose in her craft room! She wanted to make cards so I let her go at it! You can tell her favorite color is pink! She chose her stamps first, then, chose the colors of inks she wanted to use. She did a wonderful job IMHO!! She chose the ribbons she wanted but asked Grandma for help with the tying as she only ties shoes at the moment(her words). I can't remember a time when I felt more joy in my craft room!! Hope everyone has a great week and blessings to you!
What a wonderful time with your granddaughter and what precious memories to cherish!
ReplyDeletePlease let your DGD know that I loved her cards!

ReplyDeleteTori IS a creative little lady! TFS
ReplyDeleteYay, Tori! You go, girl!
ReplyDeletegreat work, Tori!
ReplyDeleteThat's the way to hook them - get them while they're young! ;) She's definitely inherited your creativity! I'm sure it was a very special time for both of you. I just love it when my daughters stamp with me!
ReplyDeleteShe did great! I love the horse card, but I'm a little partial to them =)
ReplyDeleteShe did a wonderful job! I would say "future stamper in the works" but she's got the hang of it already! Thanks Vicki!
ReplyDeleteVicki, you and Tori make a great stamping team!
ReplyDeletewell it looks like you have a great card maker in the making! she did a super job :)
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! Thanks for posting those darling cards.
ReplyDeletegreat cards.
ReplyDeleteI have a five year old great niece who comes up with equally intriguing sayings. She's captivated by drawing and writing "HI" on letters to everyone. I might have to get her into my craft room soon. Your granddaughter is a budding stamper...i'll look for her on SCS in ten years!
ReplyDeleteSo super cute. I love crafting with kids. I had sent my 11 year old cousin a scrapbooking kit and she sent me a thank you card that said "PS - I really like Glue Dots"
ReplyDeleteShe did an awesome job! And I love the horse card!
ReplyDeleteYea Tori!
ReplyDeleteTori takes after her grandma, what adorable cards she made. I had to laugh that you said you "turned her loose in your craft room". Even with restricted use of my stuff, my kids really can mess up my craft room in a hurry. She is lucky to have a wonderful grandmother to give her these experiences and memories! She'll remember these times forever!
ReplyDeleteWow, Tori is one talented little girl! She must have inherited her crafting ability from her grandma! These cards are so adorable! What a great way to spend time with your granddaughter, I know she enjoyed it as much as you did!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness those are so sweet!! She did a wonderful job. And aren't you just the best Grandma to encourage her creativity. Blessings to you!!
