Welcome Friends!
So glad you could stop by today! I hope your New year is starting with joy and love! A very quiet New Year's eve for me and my family, but lots of love to share!
The next card in the Thank You series is very basic but with bold lines. The card base is from a My Mind's Eye card kit as is the sentiment. The sentiment is matted to coordinating cardstock and adhered with dimensionals. I added some geometric-shaped paper clips for a little interest. Super quick!
I am still working on using these kits and reducing my "stash". It is slow going but I am determined not to buy any new paper until I use a good deal of what I have on hand!
There are still a few cards in this series and I hope you will visit again. I so appreciate all your nice comments and suggestions!
Blessings to you,
Vicki
Lovely! I like this striped paper and the clips.
ReplyDeleteAnother great Thank You card, those paperclips looks really good. Good luck with the stash reduction...
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely background for a thank you card. And you know, I've used clips like that, but it never occurred to me that I could just adhere it flat to the card. I like it! :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent card! You know, a few years ago when I started scrapbooking, I bought paper like a maniac and ended up with stuff I didn't like anymore or it looked dated, etc. I ended up giving it to my girls to play with and decided I would be very picky with paper. I became so picky, that I now don't have enough! LOL
ReplyDeleteI admire you for trying to use up your "stashed" paper. Not enough will power here to quelch my "paper-buying addiction". I hope you publish all your work so we can see how you come up with ideas for using up your older items...it will be really interesting to see your ideas. Too bad we all can't have a party, put our old stuff in a pile and choose...That would be a fun day, wouldn't it!!
