Hi and welcome!
Today I have a challenge card for our Sweet Dreamers Blog Challenge, Ebony and Ivory! We were to make a card using only the colors black and white I had this infant image from Digital Two for Tuesday and was excited to have a chance to use it. I used white cardstock for the card base and stamped it with a carriage stamp from Simply Chic Stamps. I cut the image out with decorative scissors. I then layered the image with dimensionals and added the polka dot bow. I also added ribbon to the bottom of the card and adhered the sentiment stamp with pop dots. The sentiment stamp is also from Simply Chic.
Although black and white are not the typical colors for a baby card, I was very happy with the results of this one. Hope you like it too!

ReplyDeleteYour baby card is adorable and a great technique for the challenge. I've been seeing a lot of items for babies in black and white...and love it. Great job.
Not typical, but striking looking card in the end and that's what counts. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI love black and white and I think this card is a nice change to the usual pink and blue baby cards we see most of the time.

ReplyDeleteSuch a cute baby image. I would have never thought to make a black & white baby card... love it. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's actually a very modern baby card. It reminded me of the all black and white baby mobiles that are supposed to be so stimulating to a developing baby's brain. Very neat card!
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of trouble with using only b&w and no color at all. But you did a very good job with this challenge.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card!
ReplyDeleteThat is great. I love the way you put it together.
ReplyDeleteI never would have thought to do a baby card in black and white, but this is amazing! It totally works! :)
